Sales of Fair Trade goods in the UK have grown by 40 per cent during the past year. Thanks to the growing consumer awareness and demand, most major UK supermarkets now sell a range of Fair Trade goods.

Visit the Fairtrade Foundation website to see more details of Fairtrade products available in the UK and where to buy them.

If the supermarket stocks it - but your local branch doesn't - don't be afraid to leave a comment in a comments box or book, or to speak to a manager. Be specific about what you want, and let them know you shop there regularly.

Oxfam and Traidcraft have also worked together to bring you a selection of Fairtrade goods available on-line at www.traidcraftshop.com.
