The World Trade Organization (WTO) meetings in Cancún, Mexico in early September, are an opportunity to expose the failures of the international trade systems to improve the economic and social well-being of the world's poor. People are demanding alternatives and solutions to global poverty and the rapid loss of their natural resources.
